PSG join Manchester United, Chelsea in pursuit of Bundesliga’s £60m-rated winger

PSG are monitoring Bundesliga attacker in case any of their wingers leave, per reports. Manchester United, Chelsea and Liverpool also interested.

PSG are one of the clubs monitoring the situation of Borussia Dortmund winger Karim Adeyemi, according to reports from England.

The Parisians are particularly interested in the German in case any of their wingers leave the club during the summer. Bradley Barcola has been the most linked to a possible exit, particularly toward the Premier League.

“One European club holding strong interest is PSG, who are said to be monitoring the situation should they lose one of their current wingers,” TEAMtalk’s Fraser Fletcher wrote on Monday.

Manchester United, Chelsea, Liverpool also interested

However, the same report cites Manchester United, Chelsea and Liverpool as interested clubs. As for the Red Devils, the cited outlet explains that they see Adeyemi, 24, as a “high-priority target” to inject speed into their offensive front.

Chelsea, for their part, have already had contact with Adeyemi’s representatives over the last year, “viewing him as a dynamic addition to bolster their attacking options under new boss Xabi Alonso.”

Finally, the report indicates that Liverpool cannot be ruled out, as they have been monitoring the player’s situation very closely.

According to TEAMtalk, despite PSG’s interest, “the pull of the Premier League, with its financial power and global profile, could prove decisive.”

It should be remembered that since the arrival of sporting advisor Luis Campos, and especially manager Luis Enrique, PSG have moved away from the strategy of investing exorbitant sums to strengthen their squad just for the sake of doing so.

The same report indicates that Dortmund could demand between €60-70 million (£60.9m, $81.4m) for their player, whom they are not ruling out selling if an offer of that caliber arrives.
