Milan ready summer swoop for PSG’s Goncalo Ramos amidst Manchester United and Juventus interest

Serie A outfits Milan set to battle with Manchester United and Juventus to land PSG's Goncalo Ramos' signature

Serie A side Milan have prioritised signing PSG forward Goncalo Ramos this summer.

According to Italian news outlet La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Rossoneri have joined Juventus and Manchester United in the race to land the signature of PSG’s Goncalo Ramos ahead of the summer transfer window.

Having scored 12 goals across 44 games in all competitions, the Portuguese forward naturally wants to play a bigger role at one of the top European clubs next season after spending two years with Paris Saint-Germain.

Massimiliano Allegri have decided to continue his coaching tenure at Milan only if the side invests heavily during the transfer window. Therefore, PSG are gearing themselves up for negotiations with the Italian club as an offer is imminent. Allegri has identified Ramos as his prime target in the number 9 role, alongside Bayern Munich’s Leon Goretzka, who is set to be brought in midfield.

PSG can be convinced to sell the 24-year-old with a substantial offer, much higher than his current market value. However, if the deal falls with the French club, Milan have Juventus’ Dusan Vlahovic and Borussia Dortmund’s Serhou Guirassy on the list. Despite the wishlist for the striker position, Il Diavolo will fight against United and the Old Lady and will try to get the green light from the player himself to gain leverage in negotiations with Les Parisiens.

Manchester United remain in the running for Ramos and they are set to be come with renewed financial power since qualifying for the Champions League means they will need the required depth in their squad.
