Liverpool fast-track transfer plans to secure €95m Ligue 1 forward from PSG

PSG's €95 million rated forward shows a clear interest in a possible move from Premier League side Liverpool this summer.

PSG forward Bradley Barcola show definite interest in a potential move to Liverpool this summer.

According to a report by Le10Sport (via TEAMtalk), the former Lyon winger is ‘hotly tempted’ by a possible move to Anfield this summer as Liverpool gear up to send an initial offer.

Having changed agents earlier this season, Barcola has asked his new representatives to actively search for a new side where he can feature as a regular. The preliminary possibilities have been found in the Premier League with Arsenal and Liverpool in the running.

The 23-year-old has managed to score 13 times and registered seven assists in 48 games across all competitions in this campaign, even though he remains a fourth-choice striker behind Ousmane Dembele, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia and Desire Doue. A lack of gametime under PSG head coach Luis Enrique has opened up his future away from the 14-time Ligue 1 champions.

The Merseyside Reds consider Barcola as an alternative for Leipzig’s Yan Diomande. While both players are set to be rated around €100 million in transfer fees, Barcola’s value might experience a drop. As things stand, Diomande (19) has been reluctant to leave the German side this summer; therefore, Liverpool will have to divert their attention towards the PSG forward.

Liverpool will need a strong replacement for departing club legend Mohamed Salah soon, and someone to deputise for Hugo Ekitike as he recovers from his Achilles injury. Anthony Gordon is also pushing to leave Newcastle United in the transfer window, and he could also join Barcola in the club’s wishlist.
