PSG in the race to sign Bournemouth’s €100m forward

European champions PSG have joined the race to sign Bournemouth's €100 million forward alongside the likes of Arsenal, Liverpool and Barcelona.

PSG have restarted their transfer market operations and are in the race to sign Bournemouth forward Eli Junior Kroupi this summer.

According to a report by Foot Mercato, PSG have joined Arsenal, Barcelona, Bayern Munich and Chelsea in the battle to sign Eli Junior Kroupi from Bournemouth during this summer transfer window.

The Cherries are demanding a sizeable €100 million for the Frenchman, who has shone in the Premier League this past season with 13 goals in 33 appearances. The 19-year-old made the switch to the English top-flight side in the winter of 2025 from Ligue 1 outfits Lorient.

PSG are believed to have just entered the race for Kroupi, and Liverpool might stand as the frontrunners in this one, especially because potential head coach appointee Andoni Iraola has a special relationship with the player after bringing him into the club during his tenure with Bournemouth. If he gets appointed as The Reds’ coach soon, Kroupi might be tempted to join his former manager on a better side to win trophies.

Despite Liverpool’s push, the report underlines the French forward’s personal wish to play for Paris Saint-Germain, and a return to the Ligue 1 could be on the cards for the youngster this summer. However, everything depends on PSG’s transfer targets and they will certainly not overpay for any player. Kroupi do not constitute a priority for sporting director Luis Campos for now, but if things do fall in their favour, they will surely go for him, provided Bournemouth lowers their asking price.
