Fabrizio Romano reveals the terms of a potential deal for PSG’s Bradley Barcola sale
Fabrizio Romano explains the reason and the terms behind PSG forward Bradley Barcola's potential sale.
Bradley Barcola, who is currently not a regular fixture in the PSG squad, has attracted interest from Premier League club Liverpool, who are looking to fill the vacant spot left by the departure of Egyptian forward Mohamed Salah. As reported by Le10Sport, the French forward might also be interested in the move, because he has fallen behind the pecking order as Luis Enrique continues to trust his forward trio of Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, Ousmane Dembélé and Desire Doué.
In fact, famous Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, in a YouTube video, commented on the terms of Barcola’s departure from PSG. He said, “If an attacking player joins PSG this summer, there could be movement around Barcola. There’s no agreement for a new contract between PSG and Barcola at the moment.”
Romano, however, did point out that if Barcola produces a good performance in the Champions League final, things may take a turn, as he said in the video, “That could change, perhaps after the Champions League final. But for now, there are no agreements for a new contract, and I think Premier League clubs could come back for Barcola.”
The Italian journalist also said that clubs like Arsenal and Liverpool have been following the player for a long time now. He also said that Barcola’s future at the Parc des Princes was also dependent on whether PSG signed any new striker or not. He said, “Liverpool and Arsenal are closely monitoring him; they were already interested a year ago, but PSG closed the door. If PSG adds a player like Diomandé or Alvarez this summer, there could be movement for Barcola. And there could be significant offers on the table from the Premier League.”
