Real Madrid’s potential manager Jose Mourinho wants PSG’s Joao Neves

José Mourinho, set to become the new head coach of Real Madrid after the departure of Alvaro Arbeloa, and given that Florentino Perez wins the imminent Presidential elections at the Bernabeu, has already demanded the signing of PSG player Joao Neves as his first big signing after joining the club. Perez, who is likely to win the elections, will definitely go to any lengths to fulfil the wishes of the Portuguese maestro.

Real Madrid have now gone trophyless in two consecutive seasons, and for a team of their stature, this is a matter of grave concern. Now, club President Florentino Perez has decided to go back to former manager José Mourinho to help him get the club back to winning ways, and as per reports by Le10Sport, Joao Neves is a player whom Mourinho admires to a great extent and has demanded his inclusion in the team from the Spanish capital.

In addition to Joao Neves, as reported by Cadena COPE, Real Madrid are reportedly also keeping a tab on Neves’ partner in the PSG midfield, the Portuguese player Vitinha. It is to be noted that since both Neves and Vitinha are regular starters at PSG, and the former’s contract with the club lasts until 2029, securing the signatures of both these midfielders will be an uphill task. Cadena COPE also reported that Mourinho and Real Madrid are also looking to sign several other players, including the likes of Alessandro Bastoni of Internazionale Milano and Víctor Muñoz of Osasuna. The centre back and right wing have been positions that have caused a great deal of worries to the club over the course of the season, and these signings will definitely go a long way in bolstering the squad.
