PSG predicted XI vs. Arsenal for Champions League final
Here is how Luis Enrique is expected to line up his PSG side for the Champions League final against Arsenal on May 30 at Puskas Arena.
The biggest European clash of the season is set to be staged at the Puskas Arena on Saturday at 5 pm as PSG go head-to-head against Arsenal.
Luis Enrique is on the verge of joining the ranks of Carlo Ancelotti, Pep Guardiola, Bob Paisley and Zinedine Zidane as the fifth coach to seal his third Champions League trophy. Paris Saint-Germain had to undergo the Round of 16 playoff stage after finishing 11th in the league phase, but a rejuvenated knockout stage approach helped them go through to the final.
PSG have the chance to make it two successive Champions League titles following their maiden triumph last year.
Head coach Enrique rested most of his squad in the penultimate Ligue 1 fixture against Paris FC, but the decision to start Ousmane Dembele resulted in him being injured with a calf issue. However, he has recovered well since then and is in line to start alongside Khvicha Kvaratskhelia and Desire Doue.
Achraf Hakimi has rejoined training recently after picking up a hamstring injury in the first leg against Bayern Munich. While Warren Zaire-Emery has deputised well in the Moroccan’s role, the Frenchman is expected to be benched in the final. Matvei Safonov should keep his place in between the sticks as Lucas Chevalier recovers from a muscle problem. Nuno Mendes is fit to start the game.
Here is how PSG is predicted to line up against Arsenal in the Champions League final
PSG (4-3-3): Safonov; Hakimi, Marquinhos, Pacho, Mendes; Neves, Vitinha, Ruiz; Doue, Dembele, Kvaratskhelia.
