Liverpool urged to complete sensational swoop for PSG phenomenon as ultimate Salah successor

After a successful season that saw PSG clinch the Ligue 1 title yet again, the fourteenth in their history, and reach a second consecutive UEFA Champions League final, a match against Premier League champions Arsenal that is to be played in Budapest, Hungary, having won the previous edition of the tournament in the 2024-25 season, the club can now lose one of its most important players, the Georgian winger Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, to Liverpool, if the latter pay heed to the advices of its former player, Emile Heskey.

The Premier League club’s management and coach Arne Slot are looking to reinforce the right wing position, which has been left bereft of quality with the departure of Egyptian star Mohamed Salah after nine years at Anfield.

The Georgian winger, who has recorded eight goals and four assists for PSG in the league this season, and has also registered ten goals and six assists on the Champions League front, is, according to former Liverpool star Emile Heskey, the perfect replacement for Mohamed Salah, as reported by Liverpool Echo.

Heskey, in an interview with Hajper, said, “Khvicha Kvaratskhelia is the player I want at Liverpool. He is a phenomenon, and I think he’s going from strength to strength.”

The former Reds player further said, “He’s only 25, and he already looks great. I saw him when he was still at Napoli when they played against Leicester City, and even then, he was outstanding.”

It will be interesting to see whether Liverpool will be interested in following the advice of Heskey. However, it can be said with certainty that ensuring the services of Kvaratskhelia will be an uphill battle for the Reds, and PSG will definitely be unwilling to let go of its star player. The player himself seems to be enjoying life at the Parc des Princes, and the chances of him leaving the French capital are quite slim.
