With half of the season gone by, we have had plenty of time to evaluate the performances of numerous PSG players.
While some players have played well, others cannot say the same. We will look into which PSG players Transfermarkt deems have helped and hurt their value the most.
While fans have a wide range of opinions about PSG sporting director Luis Campos, it is generally agreed upon that the players he signed this summer have been good moves.
Transfermarkt agrees as every signing PSG made this summer has increased their value.
PSG players who increased their transfer value

Goalkeeper Matvey Safonov was only rated as a 16 million dollar player when the summer window opened, but he has raised that value to 22 million.
Willian Pacho and Desire Doue are both currently rated at 40 million, but when the window opened, they were at 35 and 30 million, respectively.
It is not surprising Joao Neves has raised his value, but the amount might be somewhat surprising. The list of midfielders who have been better than him this season is very short, but his value has only increased by 5 million, going from 55 to 60.
Lee Kang-In has been impressive this year, and he raised his value from 25 million to 30 million.
The biggest riser for PSG has been Bradley Barcola. At the start of the window, he was only rated at 50 million. Due to his standout performances, that number is now up to 65 million.
Finally, while he is not a PSG player yet, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia is set to officially become a Parisian within the coming days. With Napoli this season, where he recently said goodbye to the club, he has increased his value from 80 million to 85 million. Based on this valuation, PSG certainly got a good price for the winger.
PSG players who decreased their transfer value

The biggest decreases have come from a trio of players that PSG is looking to move off of.
While he likely doesn’t have much time before moving to Italy, Randal Kolo Muani’s value has dropped from 45 million to now 30 million since the summer.
Milan Skriniar is also likely to leave, and due to his lack of game time his transfer value has been cut in half from 30 million to 15 million.
An unfortunate decrease is that of Lucas Hernandez. His drop from 40 million to 32 million has nothing to do with his play, but rather the fact he tore his ACL for the second time in 18 months in May.
He has now returned to the pitch, and we will see if one of PSG’s standout defenders from last season can get his value back to where it was.
The final player who has hurt their value is Gianluigi Donnarumma. He is currently linked with a summer exit to a shocking club, but since the start of the summer, he has decreased his value from 40 million to 35 million.
