It is no secret that Luis Campos’ transfer strategy heavily revolves around signing young talent, and much of that comes from Portugal.
Between Vitinha, Joao Neves, Nuno Mendes, and Goncalo Ramos, the Parisian club is loaded up on young Portuguese talent.
According to reports from Sports Zone, Campos is looking to dip back into the Portuguese talent well this summer.
His great relationship with Polaris Sports’ Jorge Mendes is well known, but this target is someone outside of Mendes’ clientele.
PSG wants Porto’s Rodrigo Mora

The player they are targeting is Rodrigo Mora from Porto.
Mora has played 8 matches for Porto this season, scoring 3 goals and providing 3 assists in his limited time. He has only started two games, and in each of those games, he has both scored and assisted.
He has not gotten the call-up to the main Portugal squad yet, but that is expected for someone of his age.
His value is currently listed at around 10 million on Transfermarkt, but it would likely cost somewhere in the range of 25-30 million to get a deal done.
Where would Mora fit in the PSG squad?
While he is very talented, I think the current answer to where Mora fits in the PSG squad is that he doesn’t. He has only played 14 matches at the senior level, and PSG has talent on the wings.
However, this does not mean they should look away from signing him.
If PSG can close a deal on Mora, the best course of action could be to loan him straight back to Porto for either 6 or 18 months to give him more time to develop before coming into the PSG squad when he is more ready for the top level of football.
Regarding other rumors, PSG has recently been linked with Manchester United winger Alejandro Garnacho.
Additionally, the Parisian side is being mentioned as a potential destination for Lens defender Abdukodir Khusanov. We’ll see what happens.
