PSG in talks with RC Lens over potential exit of Spanish player

Paris Saint-Germain have started the year 2025 with a lot of activity and with great expectations of welcoming the transfer window and their first match of the year.

As they face a very important match and their preparation focused on the Trophee des Champions against AS Monaco is the center of attention.

This match offers Luis Enrique’s team the opportunity to win their first title of the year.

However, PSG are also going through a very active winter transfer window, in which possible departures of Milan Skriniar and Randal Kolo Muani could open space for the possible arrival of a star player from Juventus.

RC Lens is interested in Arnau Tenas, PSG’s third goalkeeper

One of the most prominent transfer rumours revolves around third-choice goalkeeper Arnau Tenas. RC Lens have asked PSG about their stance on Arnau Tenas, as they would like to buy the Spanish goalkeeper.

including stints with FC Barcelona’s youth setup and Spain’s Olympic team, where he secured a gold medal at the Paris 2024 Olympics.

Tenas’ early days at PSG during the 2023-24 season showed promise, with six appearances in which he conceded seven goals and kept one clean sheet.

However, his lack of opportunities since then has relegated him to the role of third-choice keeper.

Reports now suggest that RC Lens is interested in signing Tenas, possibly on loan with an obligation to buy.

This move could offer the young goalkeeper the chance to revive his career and gain crucial playing time. For PSG, it would mean parting ways with a player who has yet to fulfill his potential at the club.

A fantastic future for Arnau Tenas, but without any opportunity

Despite limited opportunities at PSG, Tenas’ career achievements are noteworthy.

He has won significant titles, including La Liga, the Copa del Rey, and the Spanish Super Cup with Barcelona, as well as Ligue 1, the Coupe de France, and the Trophée des Champions with PSG.

As the transfer window progresses, Tenas faces a critical decision: stay at PSG and continue to fight for his place, or move to a club like RC Lens, where he might finally realize his potential.

For now, his future remains uncertain, but his talent and accomplishments make him a player to watch in 2025.
