Khvicha Kvaratskhelia is currently as close to PSG as he has ever been.

There have been numerous reports of PSG approaching a deal for the Georgian winger, and the deal is reportedly nearing the final stages.

Napoli and PSG representatives will meet today

According to a report from Le Parisien’s Benjamin Quarez, Napoli and PSG will meet today in Nice to iron out the rest of the transfer.

L’Equipe suggests that the two sides will likely find common ground at a price of around 65 million as a base with bonuses that could reach up to 80 million.

This price is a major discount on what was discussed in the summer, as the Italian club wanted around 120 million to let the winger go.

Interestingly enough, Napoli is the club that is in more of a rush to get this deal done.

Kvaratskhelia will be ineligible to play in PSG’s two remaining Champions League matches due to how UEFA’s eligibility rules work, so Napoli is the club who needs the deal done early in the window as they look to redistribute that money to make a push for a second Scudetto in three years.

Khvicha Kvaratskhelia’s potential debut date is revealed

According to the same report from Quarez, PSG is targeting the match against Reims at the Parc Des Princes on January 25 for Kvaratskhelia to make his debut with the club.

They play Espaly in the Coupe De France on Wednesday the 15th and Lens on Saturday the 18th, which would be too quick of a turnaround to be game-ready for.

He is then ineligible for the Manchester City match on the 22nd, making the Reims match a good target.

Even though he cannot play in the match, the Manchester City match will be Kvaratskhelia’s first introduction to the incredible Parc Des Princes crowd as they look for a crucial result in a tight Champions League Race.
