That player is Presnel Kimpembe. Back in his day, there were few center-backs in the world better than the Frenchman.
Recently, his career has been very difficult. He just recently signed an extension to 2026 with PSG, but he hasn’t seen the field due to a variety of injuries since 2023.
We are almost approaching two years since the last time he was on the pitch, January 2023, and PSG could decide to move on from him.
He will return from injury soon, but if he cannot find his form, the potential for a departure is there.
According to recent reports, Presnel Kimpembe is not happy at all with his current situation at PSG.

With many European clubs unlikely to take on his salary, a departure to the Middle East could be in order for Presnel.
A report from Marc Mechenoua of GOAL suggests that Qatari clubs are interested in signing him if he cannot return to the form he was at before his injury with PSG and the capital club wants to sell him.
We saw PSG take a similar path with Marco Verratti in the summer of 2023, so we will see what Kimpembe’s future holds.
