PSG set to meet with Juventus over Kolo Muani transfer
Juventus and PSG are set to meet again soon to discuss the transfer of Randal Kolo Muani after breakdown in talks last summer.
PSG are to schedule a meeting with Serie A outfit Juventus soon to discuss the potential transfer of Randal Kolo Muani this summer.
According to a report by La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Bianconeri are currently negotiating with Kolo Muani for a potential permanent signing during this upcoming transfer window. Discussions between PSG and the Italian side collapsed last summer, much to the annoyance of the French outfit, as they had to send him to Tottenham on yet another loan deal.
The Frenchman has made his ties with Juventus clear on numerous occasions, especially after scoring 10 goals in 22 games for the club during his loan spell in the second-half of last season.
PSG to set asking price to avoid capital loss
The 27-year-old is undergoing a disappointing loan spell with Spurs in the Premier League, scoring just once in 28 appearances so far. PSG are not looking to keep Kolo Muani at the club following his return, as they are set to sell him for an amount around โฌ40 million to avoid a capital loss. The Ligue 1 giants bought him from Eintracht Frankfurt in 2023 for a โฌ90 million fee.
The figure expected to be set by Paris Saint-Germain will not prove to be a burden for The Old Lady, and they might include striker Jonathan David in the deal, a player previously scouted by Luis Campos during his time at Lille.
Talks are expected to begin soon between the two sides, and if Juventus qualify for the Champions League, the situation will be much more concrete.
