A narrow victory for PSG, a spectacular debut… and a hidden message from Luis Enrique?

In PSG’s Ligue 1 debut, a great moment for the team was evident, where the debut of the 2 Parisian figures was the most awaited and did not disappoint.
Victory for PSG by 1-0 against Nantes in the first matchday of Ligue 1, with a goal from Vitinha that, with luck after a rebound off a Nantes player, would give the win by the minimum.
But what amazed the most at the start of the match was the starting lineup. Luis Enrique left on the bench Dembele, Doue, Kvaratskhelia, Marquinhos, Nuno Mendes, and Hakimi.
This gave a great surprise, but nevertheless, the team looked fascinating and had a good performance during the start of the match. But they lacked that depth that they do have with these players and a more definitive offence when it came to finishing plays.
But the debut of Illia Zabarnyi was a total success, a player with great quality, physical play and a great passer showed in this debut, with some doubts at the start, but his confidence kept increasing, being very solid in defence.
The Ukrainian declared his happiness for this debut and the victory for the team: “I feel good. I really enjoyed playing with the ball. I stayed focused because they tried to play on the counterattack with a low block, so it is very different. But for me, it was good, I enjoyed it today. I love the fans, they are incredible! They never stop singing, it is incredible. It is good to hear them.”
On the other hand, Lucas Chevalier had his second match with PSG and now without so much demand, managed to keep a clean sheet thanks to the team’s great defense and when the goalkeeper was needed, he was there in a positive performance.
PSG are now second in the table and this leaves without doubt a positive start for this new season, once again directed towards glory.
