PSG are moving forward in their 2024-2025 campaign, staying competitive across all competitions while transfer rumours continue to emerge.
The transfer window has recently closed in Europe’s top leagues, but speculation surrounding the best clubs persists.
Not long ago, we reported that PSG could move for Ibrahima Konate next summer, should Luis Enrique give the green light.
We also covered Burnley’s interest in Ayman Kari, following the French talent’s inactivity with Paris this season.
Now, it’s time to shift the focus to Rodrygo, as there are fresh updates regarding his future.
Real Madrid stand firm on Rodrygo

According to Fabrice Hawkins of RMC Sport, Rodrygo remains a key part of Real Madrid’s plans despite interest from multiple clubs.
The journalist reports that PSG, Manchester City, and clubs from Saudi Arabia are all keeping an eye on the Brazilian winger. However, he reiterates that the heir to Brazil’s No. 10 shirt is not expected to leave Los Blancos.
Beyond Hawkins’ confirmation of PSG’s interest, Fichajes.net claimed that the Parisian club were prepared to offer €100 million for the versatile forward.
With Kylian Mbappe and Vinicius Jr leading Real Madrid’s attack, it’s only natural for rumours about Rodrygo’s future to arise, given his top-tier talent, efficiency, and potential.
Rodrygo, a ‘backup’ with star-level numbers
This season in LaLiga, Rodrygo has recorded six goals and five assists in 15 starts. In the Champions League, he has netted four goals and provided one assist in six matches, starting four of them.
In the Spanish Super Cup, he played two matches, both as a starter, scoring twice. In the Copa del Rey, he registered an assist in just 60 minutes on the pitch.
Rodrygo has earned superstar status, even if he isn’t always a guaranteed starter in a Real Madrid squad stacked with attacking talent.
Despite the attacking depth at PSG and Manchester City, it’s clear that if the chance to sign the Brazilian arises, they will do whatever it takes to secure his signature.
