Kylian Mbappe at Real Madrid has been far from smooth, with the French star struggling to make the impact many expected after his high-profile summer transfer from PSG.

Despite his incredible talent, the 25-year-old has faced numerous challenges since moving to the Spanish capital on a free transfer.

The most notable of these struggles came in the form of a crushing 4-0 defeat to Barcelona in his El Clasico debut on October 26.

The loss was a huge blow, especially at the Santiago Bernabeu, and it was quickly followed by a 3-1 defeat to AC Milan in the UEFA Champions League.

These early results have left the former Paris Saint-Germain star under increasing pressure to deliver, with critics starting to question whether he can live up to expectations.

Missed opportunities and growing frustrations from Mbappe

On Wednesday, Mbappe had another opportunity to make his mark when Real Madrid faced Liverpool, with Vinicius Junior sidelined.

In his preferred role, Mbappe missed a clear chance to score and saw a penalty saved in the second half, further adding to his frustrations.

Despite these setbacks, both manager Carlo Ancelotti and former Real Madrid player Gareth Bale have rallied behind the forward.

Ancelotti expressed his confidence, stating that Mbappe has the full support of the team and that he is adapting well to his new surroundings.

“He will soon turn the situation around,” Ancelotti said, reassuring fans and critics alike. Similarly, Bale, who understands the challenges of being a top-level player, reminded everyone that even the best miss penalties, and it’s just a matter of time before Mbappe finds his form.

As the pressure mounts, questions about Mbappe’s long-term success at Real Madrid will intensify if he doesn’t soon get back to his best.

For now, though, the club remains patient, trusting that the talented forward will rise above his current struggles.
