PSG pushing for exit: Newcastle and Juventus locked in battle for striker

PSG are still looking to offload some players who won’t be considered for next season, with Randal Kolo Muani being one of them, and negotiations with Juventus appear to have stalled.
However, Newcastle have now entered the race for the French striker, as the Premier League side aim to build a competitive squad. At 26 years old, he hasn’t managed to establish himself as an undisputed starter at any of his previous clubs, showing clear inconsistency.
Failing to fit into PSG’s rotation has cost the French player dearly – since his crucial miss in the 2022 Qatar World Cup final against Argentina (that save by Dibu Martinez), he hasn’t been able to maintain consistent performances.
Now, Luis Enrique is looking to create space in the squad for another attacker, with many expecting PSG to sign a star forward. Magnhes Akliouche has become the darling of many fans.
With a market value of €30M according to Transfermarkt, it’s clear he could be an affordable option for some clubs. However, PSG are thought to be unwilling to let Kolo Muani leave for less than €40M.
With two recent defensive signings (Lucas Chevalier, Illya Zabarnyi), everyone is waiting for more rumors to emerge in the coming days ahead of the UEFA Super Cup final against Tottenham.
In the coming weeks, the futures of several PSG players who haven’t yet secured their place in what’s currently the best team in the world will become clearer.
