‘Major step’ – Bayern agrees to terms with PSG and Arsenal transfer target

Bayern Munich has agreed to personal terms with a transfer target for PSG, Arsenal and Chelsea.

Bayern Munich has agreed personal terms with a forward who is also a transfer target for clubs such as PSG, Arsenal, and Chelsea, according to reports.

On Wednesday, TEAMtalk reported that Newcastle United star Anthony Gordon took a step forward, bringing him closer to the Bundesliga. According to the cited outlet, the Englishman agreed to personal terms with Bayern.

“Gordon’s camp have agreed personal terms with Bayern Munich, though a move to Bavaria is far from a done deal and the agreement could be used as a premise for Premier League sides getting in on the action,” journalist Graeme Bailey wrote.

Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool and PSG also eye Newcastle star

Bailey recalled that Gordon, 25, is also a transfer target for big clubs in Europe, including Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, and even PSG. Regarding the latter, the report indicates that talks have already taken place.

“Arsenal, Liverpool, and Chelsea all remain interested in Gordon’s situation, while European champions Paris Saint-Germain have also held conversations over a possible move,” Bailey explained.

TEAMtalk explains that Gordon considers himself ready to prove himself at the highest level of European football. They add that Newcastle United is fully aware of the situation.

“Sources have confirmed that discussions between Bayern and Gordon’s representatives have progressed positively (โ€ฆ) Newcastle are fully aware of the situation and know that Gordon and his entourage are actively exploring a transfer away from St James’ Park this summer.”

Bayern would value Gordon at a figure slightly above 50 million pounds, “with the Bundesliga champions potentially willing to stretch toward the 60 million pounds ($81 million) mark if negotiations advance,” according to the same report.
