Turkish media reveals Fenerbahce as potential destination for PSG’s €22 million forward
Turkish side Fenerbahce have identified PSG forward Randal Kolo Muani as a potential transfer target this summer alongside Juventus.
Fenerbahce opens up as a potential destination for PSG forward Randal Kolo Muani this summer.
According to a report by Turkish media outlet Fanatik (via Foot Mercato), PSG striker Randal Kolo Muani could be set to depart this summer transfer window as a €22 million bid from Fenerbahce would suffice.
Despite wanting to extend his loan period with Juventus, the Frenchman had to undergo a loan campaign with Tottenham Hotspur, where he failed to revive his career. He recorded only five goals and four assists throughout the season, which saw Spurs majorly fighting relegation and saving themselves a Premier League spot in the last matchday of the campaign.
The 27-year-old was close to a permanent transfer to the Bianconeri last summer, but talks failed as Juventus faced financial issues, leaving PSG discontent with the Italian club’s proposal. However, the Old Lady are expected to be back in the race for Kolo Muani since they remain closely connected with Paris Saint-Germain for the signing of the player.
Meanwhile, Fenerbahçe club president Aziz Yıldırım wants to bring in a new face after watching their eternal rivals Galatasaray lift the Turkish top-flight title this season. Kolo Muani is a priority for the side alongside the likes of Alexander Sørloth, Romelu Lukaku, and Vangelis Pavlidis.
Juventus have failed to qualify for the Champions League for the next campaign, and therefore, it is yet to be seen whether they come with a serious approach to Les Parisiens for the French forward. More details are set to emerge in the coming days.
