Ousmane Dembele on his PSG future: “I’ll be 100% here next season!”

PSG star man Ousmane Dembele puts cold water on his transfer links as he commits his immediate future to the French club

PSG star man Ousmane Dembele committed his future to PSG for next season ahead of the Champions League final against Arsenal.

Speaking to RMC Sport via Foot Mercato last evening, Dembele confirmed his presence in the PSG squad for the next campaign as he reminded everyone of his current contract and his amicable relationship with everyone at the club. The Frenchman said, “I’ll be 100% here next season, I still have a contract.

Citing his contract tenure, the Ballon d’Or winner put cold water on each potential interest from other clubs. He lightheartedly said: “Yes, I still have two years left on my contract (laughs), until 2028. Things are going very well at the club, I get along very well with everyone: the staff, the president, the players.” He insisted, “We’ll see if they offer me a contract (laughs), but I’m happy at the club, and I hope it will continue for a long time.”

The former Barcelona man made everything clear about his immediate future as he is set to fully focus on the upcoming Champions League between PSG and Arsenal, and the World Cup in the Americas.

While negotiations about his long-term future have not been progressing recently, PSG are keen on renewing his contract beyond 2028. However, sporting director Luis Campos has stalled new signing talks and contract extensions until May 30.

Dembele is struggling with a calf issue, but he is expected to be fit for the Champions League final. More details regarding his contract situation will emerge after this month.
