Three PSG academy players trained with the first team Saturday. With six injured stars, David Boly could make his Ligue 1 debut vs. Brest.
For its match against Brest on Sunday, PSG will have to deal with six absences. Three Parisian academy players were at practice Saturday morning.
PSG has four more matches before closing out its 2024-25 season. It still has to play three Ligue 1 matches, against Brest, Lens, and Paris FC, before the Champions League final against Arsenal on May 30 in Budapest.
The Parisians will want to win these four matches to finish the campaign in style and with two more trophies. During these final weeks of competition, Luis Enrique will have to manage his players’ health conditions.
For the Ligue 1 Matchday 33 match against Stade Brestois on Sunday night, the PSG coach will have to do without six players (Ndjantou, Hakimi, Chevalier, Mendes, Zaire-Emery, and Pacho). In contrast to last week against Lorient, some academy players are expected to be called into the squad for Sunday’s match.
As reported by L’รquipe, Samba Coulibaly (18, central defender), Dimitri Lucea (19, central defender), and David Boly (right back, 17) took part in PSG’s group practice Saturday morning on the fields at the Campus PSG in Poissy.
Boly, who is having a very good season with the U19 team and has already played one match with the professional team, the round of 32 of the French Cup against Vendee Fontenay Foot (0-4), which he had to leave after just 30 minutes due to an injury, could make his Ligue 1 debut on Sunday.
Indeed, at right back, Luis Enrique has to do without Achraf Hakimi, who has a thigh injury and has been absent since the Champions League semifinal first leg against Bayern Munich, as well as Warren Zaire-Emery, who has lower back pain and is being rested against Brest.
