PSG midfielder set for loan move to Greece

In a very positive moment for PSG, after their 1-0 victory against Angers in the second matchday of Ligue 1, we can see how they face the transfer market, where everything seems to indicate that there will be a departure in this window.

Everything points to Renato Sanches, the 28-year-old player, leaving PSG for a new loan without a purchase option, heading to Panathinaikos.

While this seems to be the destination for the Portuguese, in a rather pronounced decline, we have seen how he does not fit into Luis Enrique’s plans and will go to Greece.

This is because his contract with PSG ends in 2027, but a sale still does not seem to convince the teams.

As Transfermarkt indicates, his market value is around €3 million, which makes it clear that he is currently not having a positive performance and has never managed to fit in at PSG after his good seasons at Bayern Munich.

Possible market movement for PSG

Now we see how PSG continues to let go of players who were not counted on last season, and, most importantly, there is still the expectation that PSG may make a surprise signing for the midfield.

This is because, just like Renato Sanchez, Carlos Soler and Marco Asensio are about to leave the team, there are no important players for PSG’s midfield rotation.

We will see how the next decisions of Luis Enrique, Luis Campos and Nasser Al-Khelaifi for PSG’s transfer market unfold.
