The Champions of Europe and Champions of France reignite their domestic campaign today, taking on Nantes to open the Ligue 1 season.

The match will be played at La Beaujoire in Nantes, France, taking place at 2:45 PM ET/20:45 CET.

Paris Saint-Germain are the reigning Ligue 1 champion, while Nantes finished 13th.

Lineups

PSG is expected to rotate some coming off their win against Tottenham.

Their projected lineup is Chevalier//Beraldo, Pacho, Zabaryni, Zaire-Emery (C)//Fabian, Doue, Lee//Barcola, Ramos, Mbaye.

Mbaye is the player to watch for me. He impressed me against Tottenham, so it would be good to see the 17 year old continue to grow.

For Nantes, their predicted lineup is Lopes//Cozza, Tati, Awaziem, Amian//Leroux, Lepenant, Kwon//Guirassy, Abilne, Benhattab.

Prediction

Nantes has a very young squad, and they just likely do not have the talent to keep up with PSG.

Even with PSG rotating, I expect the Parisians to win comfortably.

Prediction: 2-0 PSG
